About Us

Padel Azerbaijan is the official governing body responsible for the development, promotion, and organization of padel sport across Azerbaijan. Operating under the umbrella of the Azerbaijan Tennis and Padel Federation — a member of the International Padel Federation (FIP) — Padel Azerbaijan manages the national competition calendar, player rankings, coaching certification, and venue standards throughout the country.

Padel arrived in Azerbaijan in the early 2020s and quickly captured the imagination of sports enthusiasts across Baku and beyond. Since the inaugural international tournament — the Sea Breeze Padel Cup — was held in Baku in May 2024, the sport has grown rapidly, attracting players from across the region and the globe.

Today, Azerbaijan stands as a recognised member of the FIP, competing on the international stage and building a vibrant domestic padel community. Our mission is simple: to make padel accessible to every Azerbaijani — from beginners stepping onto a court for the first time, to elite athletes representing the nation internationally.
